Ms. Charmian De Mendonca has said in a statement that she was treated with great insensitivity by one Dr. Kishore Persaud when she was admitted to the Georgetown Hospital on Wednesday, March 26, 2008.
Ms. Mendonca has stated that while coming out of unconsciousness after an accident at the corners of Cummings and Charlotte Streets, she felt someone pulling at her right ears and recognised the person to be Dr. Kishore Persaud. She protested and asked him to stop as this was causing her pain. Dr. Persaud then started to hit Ms. Mendonca in her chest causing further pain and when she insisted that he must desist from such action, he became angry and said “well if you feeling pain get up and go outside, yall black people like to come here and waste people time.”
According to Ms. Mendonca, Dr. Persaud after returning from his desk took off her oxygen mask in a manner which caused the elastic strap to sting her in her face several times. He continued the abuse of the patient despite the physical and emotional pain she was in and continued the racial abuse by saying “you want mek yo self a black fool and got me hey all night, I have to go home.” Dr. Persaud then scraped between Ms. Mendonca second and third toes on her right foot, until it bled and further order that she be taken off the spinal board.

I was surprised to read about what that doctor did to that patient, if that is true he needs to have his license taken away and should not be allowed to pratice any more.
He is a cruel S.O.B. and I mean that from the bottom of my heart. I think I heard about taht incident but did not take it serious, Dr. Idiot I would call him,he should know that if it was here in America he would have been in a lot of trouble. I would like to know if he would like some doctor of another race do that to his mother or a family member of his. I wish I was the patient that he did that to, that sucker would have been dead that said night.
” STOP ” the racial remarks and get with the program that ” BLACK PEOPLE ” are not going any where, they are here to stay and nothing like you can destroy them. People try to take away other people’s dignity and that is not easy to do unless thay allow someone to do so and I would be upset if someone allow another to take away their dignity. Dr. Idiot needs to read about the history of America a lot more, Dr. Martin Luther King and Ms. Rosa Parks stood up here for the ” Black Race ” so that they can and should be treated the same way as everyone else.
I am very sorry for that patient and I wish her all the best in the future.
Keep your head high and keep praying for that Idiot for a doctor.

The problem is with guyanese people. They believe that they have to accept this kind of behavior because they cannot do better. We as a people need to wake up and ask questions. I believe there are quite a few doctors working in guyana with out their credentials. Some of them may have had their license revpoked but still find jobs with bogus credentials. My reason for saying this is my experience. In 2005 my father went to the hospital with a very bad stomach pain. They ran a few tests on him and came back with the results of gas and intergestion. He was given amoxicillin (antibiotics) and was discharged. The doctor also told him to drink milk. Now, anyone who knows anything about gas and antibiotics know that you shouldn’t add milk to that combination. The doctor also told him that he saw gas on his stomach CT. It wasn’t gas, it was the fluids from his ruptured appendix. A few days later he died of acute appendicitis. My father stayed alive and in pain for about 4 days while hi internal organs became stiff and began to shut down. This happened in Linden. they rushed him to georgetown where a white doctor did surgery to remove the poison and damage. It was too late he died the day before the new year. My father was 50 years old.
To the idiot Chinese doctor who misdiagnosed my father. may the lord have mercy on you”.

Hello my people. I see this sight hasn’t gotten a new comment, I guest it hasn’t sparked the interest as other sights like Rohee and Obama or Khan. Well, that’s a shame because so meny people are dying in Guyana every day due to negligence caused by doctors but some how Cocain and the new US president is more interesting because he is black and u people can’t wait to see him fall and info.
