Since James Singh became the head of CANU, several illegal and corrupt practices were seen and done by queen james himself.
Just to mention a few crimes committed by james singh as head of CANU. To begin with, he collected large sum of money [$2700+US] from Dennis Edwards aka Death, then he cause the raid team to withdraw from his cousin Raymond house at Laluni Street Queenstown. He and Raymond rob Azad Bacchus aka black Salim a quantity of cocaine. james girvan singh also went on the East Coast Demerara and collected a large sum of money but did not share it with his bodyguards’ two CANU officers that were there with him in a heavily tinted vehicle.
Raymond declared publicly that once his cousin James Girvan Singh remains as Head of CANU he has nothing to be afraid of moving cociane in Guyana. He collected 20 million from a custom broker from the East Coast Demerara to purchase a trawler but instead, he took the money and purchases the asset of the convicted drugs dealer Sauce.
Most Friday night James Singh and his drugs friends can be seen at clubs partying around Georgetown. this gang includes some CANU officers who joined the unit under his leadership of this cocaine thief named james girvan singh. these officers hanging with queen james are the same set doing his dirty business. These officers are benefiting from James Singh illegal operations in the unit and are loving it.
One of these corrupted officers purchased a car and this vehicle is being used to transport them by night to the different nightclubs and watering holes. [propaganda press has the license plates of this vehicle] James Singh is afraid that he will fall off the “EDGE” that is why he never enters. [remember queen james took the DEA & FBI to look for salim azeez at his house]
for some strange reason [guess why] james singh has been sending people into the EDGE and other hotspots to look for Crime Chief Seelall Persaud. he thinks the crime chief is a regular at the EDGE or that he should fall off as well.
At present, the Guyana Government is trying it’s best to get a grip on the Police and their habit of torturing people. well now the govt has got another case of torture to deal with, this time coming from the ranks of CANU
CANU officers with a socall tip off from the MMC security Guards [these same criminals who murdered Travis Parks]. well with this socall tip off, CANU arrested two stevedores’ men Llewellyn Mitchell and Michael Amour from the John Fernandes wharf in Georgetown on 28/29 of May 2010 [Friday night into Saturday morning ]
CANU ranks took the men in for questioning and one of the men was found with US$1000 on his person. the man told the CANU officers that Dexter Daniels give the money to him. [Daniels was not found at the time].
It was a great surprise that the Head of CANU James Singh and his men give these two men a good trashing. They lit them on fire by burning the bottom of their feet. they also placed telephone directories on their chest and continuously hit them with a piece of wood. to add to the recipe of torture CANU ranks also over the men feet.
to round out the torture the men were severely kicked all over their bodies.
The senior officer in charge could not bear it anymore so he walked out of the CANU office where this torture was taking place.
what may have disgusted this officer more than anything else was to see the head of CANU James Girvan Singh leading his men torturing suspects. This senior officer returned and stopped the beating and took control of the situation. He should be awarded a medal of some sort for saving the state of Guyana from a very very embarrassing situation.
However, James Singh the head of CANU then told the torture victims Llewellyn Mitchell and Michael Amour that if anyone of them says anything about the beating he will personally make sure that they go to jail. Those men have keep their mouths shut in fear and this story has never made it to any news outlet in Guyana or to the public.
Those two men did not have anyone to represent them or to report their experience of torture at the hands of james girvan singh and his rogue agents at CANU. they were just Guyanese citizens and James Singh took advantage of them. Americans and Canadians citizens get a different treatment from James Singh. he dare not touch them because their embassies always look after them. remember it was james who escorted his DEA comrade in arms to the airport after she was busted with cocaine in the regency hotel.
The men who are doing all these illegal acts are persons that James Singh employs as his personal cronies. paid by the tax payers of Guyana of course. If any member from the Government should read this article, yet again we call on them to take some action against the monster that is growing at CANU. he goes by the name james girvan singh.
somebody please call the office of the crime chief & co. and get this dangerous criminal james singh off our streets.

A police constable was shot dead by an Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP) who then turned the weapon on himself at the Springlands Police Station just after midnight today.
Reports are that Constable Kelvin Shepherd, 23, of Rosignol, West Berbice was asleep in the Barracks when ASP, Ivelaw Murray of Better Hope, East Coast Demerara discharged a round at him.
He then calmly walked over to his living quarters a short distance away and committed suicide.
Shepherd was rushed to the Skeldon Hospital where he was pronounced dead on arrival. Ranks on duty heard the single gunshot and thereafter saw Murray walking out of the compound.
They then checked the area where the shot was fired from and saw Shepherd covered in blood. After returning from the hospital the officers then ran over to Murray’s quarters where they found him dead.
Stabroek News learnt Shepherd was not assigned to duty on Saturday night but was called out by Murray.
Before that, a group of policemen were heading to No. 48 Village in a vehicle driven by Murray when it struck a cow and was badly damaged.
The vehicle had to be towed back to the station. The ranks were on their way to attend the wake for police constable, Vickram Singh who was gunned down in Georgetown on Friday night.
