The Guyana East Indian Cocaine Council issueing this statement of caurtion regarding the halleged illegal substance that was find today [yesterday] in Haslington, East Coast Demerara. None of our members has been arrested.
The Guyana East Indian Cocaine Council would strongly like to remind Guyanese, especially opposition aligned media houses and bloogs that no one has been brought before a judge or charged with any crime in any court anywhere in Guyana.
The Guyana East Indian Cocaine Council would like to remind media houses that all options is on the table when it come to we dealing with anybody who try to tarnish the good characteristics of our members and junior associates.
The Guyana East Indian Cocaine Council on behalf of the Central Islamic Organisation and all umbrella and assoceated Muslim organizations; the Indian Arrival Committee; the Guyana Hindu Dharmic Sabha and all affooliated Hindu Organisations in Guyana; Association of Concerned Guyanese; the Richmond Hill PPP Organising Committee and the People’s Progressive Party urging all Guyanese to refrane from relieing on inturnet sources and opposition aligned media houses for news and inflamation.

He used the Hindu utensils to smuggle his cocaine to Canada.
The Muslims in Guyana are big in the drug trade.

Crime Chief Seelall Persaud when contacted told Stabroek News that a judge had given the police an extension to hold the quartet until Monday. Persaud later said that habeas corpus proceedings filed on behalf of another suspect who was detained on Thursday were denied.
