Maria Van Beek shot by Guyana Police Force
daily decaires: Crime Chief Seelall Persaud yesterday told Stabroek News that unless the force receives “further information” on the April 15 shooting of van Beek there will be no “movement in the investigation.”
The force’s dead end in the investigation comes after Persaud had told Stabroek News months ago that they knew the identity of the man who pulled the trigger of the gun that shot van Beek.

everyone thought it was a joke when months prior we made it know that livinGuyana would be arrested soon. almost a year before the poor chaps were hounded by the Guyana Police Farce into silence.

THE Guyana Police Force (GPF) wishes to respond to an article published in the Guyana Times of Friday July 17, 2009, under the caption “Benschop, Lewis, Witter released on bail.”
In statements reportedly made by Mark Benschop in the article, he is quoted as “also alleged being threatened by Police Commissioner Henry Greene, and has brought the matter to the attention of the International Labour Organisation.” Read more…
